To further improve pedestrian safety and traffic flow on Parker Avenue, blinking warning lights have been installed on the crosswalk at Sunset Road. This is another step towards creating a safer, more pedestrian-friendly neighborhood in Pineapple Park.

The underground construction of the Pineapple Park Stormwater Drainage Improvement Project is nearing completion, and will move to the restoration, milling and paving of a new roadway over the completed project affecting residents on the following streets: 2301 Dock St. – 2005 Dock St 1101 Charles St. – 951 Charles St 1110 Ardmore Rd – 1029 Ardmore Rd Ridgeway Ave & Dock St. – 2301 Ridgeway Rd Avon Rd & Glenwood Rd – 1001 Avon Rd Boyd St. (from Canal east) The schedule (subject to adjustment) is as follows: The mobilization, milling and cleanup of the job site. On or about Tuesday, September 10-Wednesday, September 11, 2024 Overlay, cleanup, and demobilization. On or about Thursday, September 12-Thursday, September 13, 2024
